​​Jack York is a Dutch DJ and producer crafting feel-good music rooted in true house. His sound blends the joyful energy of disco-house with the sleekness of nu-disco. Creating tracks that are groove-forward, emotionally resonant, and unapologetically danceable. 

 

At the core of Jack’s work is a deep respect for the original ethos of house music: authenticity, rhythm, soul, and connection. His productions are designed for movement and mood, steady four-on-the-floor beats, lush melodies, and arrangements that evolve with intention, not excess. Inspired by artists like Nile Rodgers, Daft Punk, Gorillaz, and Groove Armada, Jack channels nostalgia without imitation. His music lives in the now: textured, vibrant, and always aiming to uplift.

He first gained attention as part of a duo with Ard de Jong, releasing music on respected labels including Flamingo Recordings, CYFI, and Suntree Records. Their 2017 album with Funkerman, “Another Version of Me“, introduced the widely played track “Lifted,” later remixed by Finnish producer Roisto.

In 2020, Jack launched his solo career with Formula Endorphine, co-produced with award-winning producer Cornelis van Dijk. The album includes tracks like “My Mind” and “Liquid Sky,” both remixed by Ziggy Phunk and Bart van Liefland, reinforcing Jack’s presence in the feel-good house scene.

 

Whether performing live or curating playlists like The Feel Good Society, Jack York’s mission is clear: make music that feels good, grooves deep, and never loses the spirit of house.
